So, I’m a long ways from a marathon, that’s for sure, but I managed 3 of the 8 running intervals. Next time I’ll do 4 and by the time I’m 9 weeks out from my race I should be good to go through the program. That’s the plan anyway.
I haven’t run in almost 2 years and I’m about 30 pounds heavier now than I was then. I’m also pushing for speed a bit more this time around, which is why it was so much harder. I want to be able to run faster than I walk.
